Coral Reefs have a lot of the oceans creatures therefore a lot of its biodiversity. But unfortunately they are quite sensitive changes to rapid changes in the ocean, such as temperature change and acidification. Directly linked to human activities and products. And coral bleaching has been destroying so many precious reefs, due to global warming. Kenneth P. Sebens at Department of Zoology at University of Maryland College Park states, "On the positive side, improved understanding of ecological processes on reefs combined with concerted conservation efforts have managed to protect some extensive areas of reef for the future."
