Economic Forces Environmental Ethics Measuring (and Reducing) the Human Footprint Multiple Stresses on Interconnected Systems Issues and Options Environmental Laws and Regulations 3) Complete and turn in answers the following simulation- Human Population Demographics lab 1-3 4) Class notes "Population demographics and dynamics", and "Tragedy of the commons" 5) Tragedy of Commons (finish lab and questions) and Scientific Instruments lab (if we get to it). 6) Chapter 1 - go through the outline and familiarize with the content for next week. * Turn in "Mission Blue" handout if you haven't yet. Week 3 8/31-9/4 Always be sure to start at "APES" tab. 1) Population Statistics Complete and understand the lab, write out ALL questions. 2) Wok through this human population facts site to help answer the questions. You are expected to know the top three of each category. 3) Work through chapter 1 and 6, know all the flash cards and do both practice tests in preparation for the test on Friday. 4) Complete Unit 1 study guide handout questions (I passed it out last week) and know ALL vocabulary. 5) Human Population Demographics -Remember to complete ALL the questions of all three sections of the simulations (extended for Monday periods 3 and 6, Tuesday period 1, because they didn't get this option last Friday.) 6) Pick 10 cities of four regions of the US using the US census fact finder site- research and compare six categories IE economy, high school graduation, etc. Turlock must be one of the cities. 7) Watch President Obamas "Clean Energy Summit" speech
